Vic Wind 3.04 now available!

A new version of Vic Wind is available! Download here for free. Yes it’s not Christmas, but we like to embrace the spirit of giving, especially to the needy kitesurfing and windsurfing population of Victoria always checking the wind obs.

This release has a few cool changes in it, including new interactive wind graphs for all wind stations in Victoria, Australia. Wind graphs are made from 10 minute interval data (from BOM, of course) and include max, min and average wind stats. You can also view wind history for every station for the last 2 days. It’s what you’ve been begging for.

The weather page has also been updated. Can you spot the changes? That’s right, you can now view weather forecast precis/text by touching the screen where the max/min temps are listed. We have also built a temperature graph which will show 10 minute interval data for your chosen location.

A few bug fixes have also gone into this release, including a previous issue with the rain radar reloading. Tide data has also been updated.

Enjoy the new release. And don’t be shy if you are wanting some new features in the app- if you flick us an email (info@vicwind.com.au) with your idea, you never know, it may appear in the next release..

iPad version 3.04 will be available late May 2015.
